By this I mean, currently if you set a loop and then disable it, the position and lenth of the loop is remembered on the track and I just need to click loop to reactivate it. However if I set a loop elsewhere in the track, the first loop is discarded. I can use a locators to set the positions were the loops should be, but I still have to remember or figure out again the loop length. It would be great if multiple loop settings could be memorised. I suppose there would have to be some ui concept for removing a memorised loop though (perhaps there already is).
You can set multiple loop and have Cross remember them.
For example:
You have a track already set with locator points 1,2,3, and 4 and you want to set 4 different loops and be able to jump to them at any time.
1. Move the player to the section you want to play.
2. As the player moves along watch for the point in which you want the loop to start.
3. Trigger a loop when the player hits the spot on the track.
4. Adjust your loop lenght and seek forward or backward to adjust the loop to the desired lenght and place if needed.
5. Set a locator point. (any of them really but in this example you have locators 5,6,7, and 8 available).
During a performance, as you playing the track you can jump to the locators that were set while loop was activated. The loop lenght is stored individually in each one.
You can have any combination of locators and loops as long as they are up to eight and you can still set an additional loop without locator for reloop.
I hope this helps.
