Can understand the message of Hanginon. V4 is a few steps in the wrong direction.
Aside from that being said your license is pretty hard. You're the only user reporting this and even you are surprised by the different states you get when using it. Only certainty there seems to be is that it goes through these states repeatedly.
As you seem to be the only one a reinstall of v4 might be a thing to do. This should include cleaning activities before reinstall.
So
- uninstall Cross 4.x (all v4 versions if you have multiple installed)
- MANUALLY remove the mixvibes.settings file
in C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Mixvibes\Cross DJ Pro\..
reboot PC.
Run a cleaner like ccleaner (registry clean only)
just to be sure : reboot after this
Install Cross
start.. fill license... and lucky (or rather normal) enjoy
