Cross DJ PRO 4.2.0 Stop analysing

Postby tiffi on 31 Mar 2020, 11:59

Hi,

I need to turn off track analysis as I have already analysed them with Mixed In Key.

When initially opening files in Cross DJ with file browser all tags look as they do in MixedIK. As soon as I load a track to a player it gets analysed again and often that would change the Key and Tempo tags.

I have turned off "Track Analysis" in preferences, but it doesn't seem to do anything to stop the analysis at load.

What am I missing?

Thanks!

You need to go into the Settings icon at the top left corner.
Go to the tap for collection
Under track analysis
Turn off what you want turned off
I would advise to keep on
Gain and Peak
Analysis can't be fully turned off if you want a functional system.
Gain does compensation for different master volumes on tracks peaks is used to generate the waveform and it is used in the beatmatcher function of Cross.

Thanks, FigDJ, thats basically what I've been doing, keeping Gain and Peak on. Its just not working. Tracks get analysed again replacing my tags. Trying it on another system at the mo. - same thing  :?: :!:
