Cross 4.2, 4.1, 4.0 bugs persist

Deck 2 spinning bar on the vinyl donuts does not spin or turn.

In vinyl mode KILL switches on the GUI does not work.

I'm really missing the clocks on the GUI. Start, End Clocks.

I click on Settings there is an instant change in sound, like bits or bytes dropped.

3 BPM range settings are either partially out or totally out of range of my music library.

Tedious to make a SmartList from my collection.

Plus the fact that the CPU still has to work almost twice as hard as it does in V3.4.3, even with FX and Sampler disabled (new in V4.2).

Hi,

Thanks for the report. The bugs mentioned should be fixed in the next update, but due to the current circumstances, it might take a while...

As for the increased cpu usage, we are also working on it.

Stay safe!

Dear Mixvibes team!
I don't see any performance improvements in Cross DJ 4.20 at all. My computer with an i7 2,8 Ghz quadcore processor and 24 GB of ram is still not able to run the software properly (GUI is laggy, audio drop outs, etc.)
Traktor and all my other music software ( e.g. NI Maschine, Ableton, etc.) work flawlessly.
How can that be? I still have to use Cross DJ 3.4 because it works without any bugs the way it is supposed to. I'm really disappointed in Mixvibes at that point and I'd like to have my money back that I spent on Cross DJ 4. It let me down at a wedding gig and I have not been able to use this software properly for months!

That's not very promising. I'm a fairly new CrossDJ user and started of with 4.0. I like the interface but indeed performance is sometimes pretty slow, my laptop can hardly keep up.
Is there any way of downloading the official 3.4 version?

Yes, in the Downloads section of the Forum. The actual link for V3.4.3 is here -
downloads.php?cat=54

The problem you'll have is that your V4 License will not work with V3.

Cross Pro is not usable due the Audio settings that do not persist whenever set. I use DVS always! Cross Pro cannot maintain Buffer Size, Input and Output setting of the Decks change by themselves. The Bugger size persist at 10 Samples (0.2ms) no matter what. If you toggle ASIO it appears to be set, once you go back to the GUI, Buffer size is back to 10 Samples.

Exact same problem in the standard version of V4.2 - I'm not sure if it's really stuck at 10 Samples (0.2ms), or if the GUI is reading it wrong. Regardless, you can't adjust it. This is with an NI Audio 2 DJ sound card, 64 bit ASIO driver.

I purchased my V4 Beta license in March of 2019. It's now been over a year, and it's still not usable in a live DJ performance.

Nothing has changed. Graphic issues and lags are still here. Really disappointed!!

So the soundcard problem I described above about setting not persisting ... Windows 10 was using channels 7-8 while Cross was trying to use 3-4 and 5-6. I removed my Echo Audio ASIO PCI driver from Windows 10 by selecting the setting to the OS(Win10) driver (RealTek Audio...). Once Windows 10 freed up that ASIO resource, Cross Pro 4.2 setting remained. I was able to at least mix music.

The 10 Samples issues though still remains and whenever you click Preference and audio drop or slow-down in sound is noticeable.
