I've purchased a SoundGarden DJ Controller which has come bundled with a copy of Cross DJ LE1.6.0 with a license key.

The Controller is recognised as a MIDI 8 device in Windows 10.

The controller isn't working within the app - Is anyone able to help please?

It’s the MIDI controller - the controls don’t register in the software.
Windows recognises the controller as a device called MIDI 8, but the software doesn’t appear to acknowledge it

Hi all

Latest update - I’ve updated my software and registered my license key.

I’m Still having the same issue, the application won’t work unless the controller is connected so I know it’s recognising the controller, but after launching the controller doesn’t have any effect on the app.
I’ve updated the support team.

I’m wondering if the device just isn’t compatible with Win 10.

I suppose your version now is 2.6.x
This i the latest version for most old LE software that was bundled by the manufacturer of the controller.

You could try the Cross Demo version (not Cross Free) to check if your controller works with the current software.

Audio issues can be caused by driver incompatibility. However MIDI is at a lower technical level of the OS and does not require drivers and should work with W10 )or any Class compliant OS).

I've downloaded the demo version from the downloads section of this board.

In the MIDI settings I've found the MIDI 8 device (which is what windows calls the controller) and the software shows the controller as being online, but unfortunately still no input is being recognised
