Hi,
I have an env-1274 envivo usb DJ controller bundled with the mixvies software. It's a MIDI device and lights up ok but doesn't appear to work,

Are you using the latest version of the LE software?
Please be aware that it might be you have an older product meaning that the specs are not for W8+.
In that case you may want to try the Demo version of Cross. This version 3.4.x is suitable for current W10 en OSX versions.
If your version doesn't work and the Demo does it would mean that you have to upgrade to the Cross DJ version.
