Sorry, but it's pretty relevant to know what you're using, so please tell what you have by naming it.

You haven't registered any license. So if you have the Cross Free version this has the restriction of not being able to use Cue out.

If you have 'Cross' 'Cross DJ' or 'Cross Demo' 3.4.x it should work. In that case please register for the reason that you can upload images to show your settings.

 the free version has audio limitations ,, the demo version give full capabilities but time restricted ,,
if you are trying the software with a U-Mix controller with out the sound card ,,the controller will olny control the software
if you are having issues with the audio ,,you will need a sound card with two stero out puts ,, one for master and one for cue/monitor/pre fade listening ,,
this is inherent in any DJ software set up ,,so info is nessary to be able to get you up and running ..
Cross free and Cross demo are set up to give a feel for the software ,no regerstration needed ,, sooo let us know what going on

If you use Windows there is an altenative, which is installing Asio4all soundcard driver. This will allow to 'join' soundcards. So you can use e.g. one for Master out and one for Cue.

Install from asio4all.com
set as soundcard in Cross (demo).
Edit settings.
Select one of the buttons bottom right to have the option to sleect multiple soundcards.
Select only soundcards/channels that you actually are going to use to reduce CPU load.
Set your output 1/2 and 3/4
Select Dual Stereo audio routing mode

If this works you can decide at a later moment to use a 4 channels out soundcard (2*stereo).
