INSTALL XONE K2 WITH Cross DJ 1.3.2

I can not install my xone k2 with Cross DJ 1.3.2
each time I try to select in mode preference the 2- xone k2
I have this message : error opening peripherique audio principal : 'generic error"
please help me...

wow ver 1,3.2 ,,thats old ,,have you regerstered in the fourm so you can access the later versions ,,where up to ver 3.11 ,,awaiting vers 4 .. they grey header above posting ,,,,fourm rules has instructions for regerstering

I did upgrade in 3.3.3
that is much better now
Cross DJ can recognize yhe xone k2
i can user the faders, play,pause, but not the preview
any idea about how to config preferences?

not familiar with x zone k2 ,,will reaserch the controller and try to figue out how it get configured ,, any info in the instruction manual

I did manage to make some sound with my xoneK2
the problem is still the "pre ecoute" in french
pre listening
I am not sure about how I did configurate preferences
Audio : k2 usb asio drive
exit1 out1/out2
exit2 out3/out4
dual stereo (routage)

MIDI : xone k2 MIDI
MIDI in and MIDI out ticked

I plug my xonek2 in usb to my PC
my headphone in the jack
and speaker in rca's xone

When I play I have in the same time the music in headphones and speaker evan if i push on the icon headphone
any idea?

look at the cue/mix setting on the screen is it now fully to mix now ? you need to map a knob to set the cue/mix balance in order to mix in cue with master.

the setting on the screen (top right near the hour) is in mix full.
How can i map a knob to separate cue to mix?
I still have the same sound in headphone and speaker...

the cue mix knob should be fully counter clockwise on the gui,if this doesnt correct your problem ,,i think you have other issues ,, not shure about the set up of the xone k2 ,,

As Daniel says.. Mix knob mixes the Main with the Cue. If fully 'left' it's only Cue sound.
But be sure to have Cue knob fully open (or at desired volume).
Also Preview knob is mixed with Main via Mix knob.

And to avoid misunderstanding... the Cross fader has to be to the opposite deck. Else when you listen to the 'Cue' deck it also works as Main out via the Mixer.

just went to x zone for info on your controller ,, have you read this ,,the manual and info about the audio set up ,, trying to filter it to the info as to your problem,,

if you have cue/mix knob fully counter clockwise what out put are you hearing ,,,the master out or the pre fade listening(cue)

if youhear the mastrout then in prefrences /audio ,,switch the chanels 3/4 where 1/2 is at
