Cross does not run smooth.

A bought a new laptop a few months ago and specially bought a gaming laptop so it would have no trouble running programs that need more performance. Everything runs smooth on it except Cross. It is lagging a lot and does not make a good use of the available resources. I think the problem is Cross is not optimized for newer hardware.

The cpu is a I5 6500 HQ it has 8 gb ram ddr4 & a GTX960 other software runs smooth like Rekordbox and Fruity Loops for example. So the problem is not the machine but the software named Cross. Unfortunately I seriously doubt that Cross is ever going to be updated any more. I can understand that they do not releases new features every year, but releasing no bug fixes or no optimizations for newer hardware and Windows 10 is just a shame. I see that they have enough time to update there remixapp on a regular base so why abandon Cross?
I use Cross whit 2 CDJ's in Hid and a external Soundcard.

I already used Rekordbox for music management, but now I am going to switch to it completely.

New hardware can't be fully excluded as a cause, but it's more likely that it's drivers of new hardware that have issues. It may even be that the gaming optimisation is causing different behaviour to audio.

Providing information on your issues may be helpful to get issues resolved. As far as I know there aren't any known pending bugs that are anyway related to performance issues.

But if you feel better using RB you easily can use your collection and if the next version of Cross suits you better you can import the rb collection in Cross.

Makes not much difference although 64bit seems worse.
