Hello,

it is a nice feature to drag and drop a youtube video on a player of Cross and it is playable. When the network connector is draged out it continues playing. So the file must be on the computer.

But where ist the file stored?

I can't find anything in the windows explorer. It would be good to know this, since someone can delete it after playing it.

Thanx
Mario

If you go to Info node (at the right) you can find the location where Cross reads the info from.

Please be aware that the drag action only copies the reference to the file into Cross. Downloading and/or temp storage of the file isn't controlled by Cross.

If you don't have some youtube download addon installed then most likely the file is controlled by the Youtube videoplayer and is being deleted when leaving youtube..

And like Daniels says... didn't know this is possible... seems like nice thing occasionally.

This is great news. Now I am going to start new experiments with this new found feature. I must say that it is part of the underlying problem in which Mixvibes never published a manual for the video features.
