U-Mix Control Pro + Cross 3.3.1 crossfader issue?

Hi there,

I'm using a U-Mix Control Pro + Cross 3.3.1 and I am running into a weird crossfader issue. (OSX 10.11.4)

Everything starts off fine, but after a certain point (no identifiable trigger), the crossfader will stop going all the way to the left. i.e. it moves fine on the controller, but only goes 1/2 way to the left on the software.

(This means I cannot complete a mix unless I manually drop the level of the right channel; likewise, I cannot cue/preview right channel track without it bleeding into the monitor unless I drop the level to 0).

Unplugging/restarting sometimes fixes the issue, sometimes not.

Any suggestions?

LEN

 havent realy seen any issues like this ,,
you have been here awhile ,, if it was operating correctly ,, and then starting acting this way,,what changed ie ,,,updated os ,, any changes in your system ,,
check to see what MIDI mapping is selected ,, and see if the online green tab flashes while you are tring to Cross fade and does it stop flashing when the software stop moving ,,
does it behave this way in both directions

just :?: you might have thought about and tried ,,kinda need more info to help solve this

it is an intermittent problem - the most frustrating kind. ie. it did not start after a certain point and stay. Sometime when I set up & plug in, everything works as expected for an hour or two before this problem shows up. Sometime unplugging/restarting makes it go away (not really an option when playing a gig!), sometime the problem sticks around for a few restarts before going back to normal.

it only seems to be a problem on the left side of the crossfader; have not had this problem appear on the right side. I'm not sure what the "online green tab" is... I don't see one...

I've been able to fake it in an emergency by using the levels instead of the crossfader, since I don't do scratching or that kind of thing, but I'd much rather be able to trust the gear. As far as I can tell, everything else works fine.

If it is a hardware issue, is there anywhere on earth that services the U-Mix Control Pro?
