Hi,

I'm having a bit of trouble recording on Cross DJ, it records it but when you play it back it hasn't recorded anything.

I'm using 2x Pioneer cdj400 connected to a behringer mixer plugged into a macbook air through usb. Sound output is Pioneer cdi driver with external mixer. I then plug a rca cable into the macs aux output and select record aux and mixer on the recording settings.

Any clue why it isn't picking up any sound? I've tried to be as descriptive

if i understand correctly ,,you are useing a aux out from mixer,,too aux in on your computer ,, not shure about sound card settings on a mac ,, but in win ,,look at the recording tab ,,they have level meter that give visual that its recording ,,,,,have you checked the computer settings ,,
in Cross useing a external mixer ,, kinda need a outside recording medium ,ie another computer to make recordings on ,,l
loong time ago a user put out a tut on recording ie internal ,,external..etc ,, have you checked the manual for any tid bit of info to help ,, will try to find the posting ,,
