It's not a latency issue. I've been running Cross since the beta versions, and I can achieve as little as 32 samples latency without glitches (though I choose to run at 256).
Windows 7 here, and 3.3.11 yes

Well, number of samples doesn't always equal the same amount of milliseconds of latency, so... But yeah, it's an Ecler EVO5. I also use RME cards, and get them down to 48. Very well-optimized machine over here.
