Bug Reports for Next Cross release

Postby BoldFaceType on 05 Apr 2016, 05:35

I read an article recently on DDJTips about how Traktor has a "known issues file" stored in your computer for current and previous releases.

http://www.digitaldjtips.com/2016/03/ne ... mhide=true

Question #1
Is there a similar file for Cross? If so, is it buried somewhere on our computers, or is it somewhere else? Can we access it?

I ask because publishing "known issues" may save MV Dev-team a lot work, and the users some frustration and possibly embarrassment.

Question #2
In anticipation of the next Cross release. Are there any tips you would give Cross users to make the debugging process more efficient?

I know that describing what you were doing just before the problem occurred is helpful, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do this in Cross, which is when you're inclined and the memory fresh. Could a "comment field" for debugging be considered for implementation in future versions?

Impatient de la prochaine version. Maintenir le bon travail!

The Crash files are typically located in a hidden system file, but can be accessed by the end user for upload when submitting an error or crash.

They are typically located at: "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\MixVibes\Crashes"

Where "USERNAME" is your computer name/user name.

Simply attach the last one to any crash file to any error report/post here so the dev team can inspect it and look for a solution :-)
