Problem mapping MIDI Xonek2 & NI X1(solved)

Postby ketanlolayekar on 03 Apr 2016, 13:32

Hi there!!

Im having problems in doing a MIDI setup with my Xone k2 and X1.
Both my controllers are not reading.
The preset MIDI mappings are not helping too.
Both the controllers appear online but are not lit up and functional.
Some of the led buttons on the K2 light up when i maunally trigger a button on the laptop with the mouse..
is anyone else having this problem?

 just for fun sake have you tried to run the 32 bit version of the software and is it the same outcome ,, eliminate the need for 64 bit drivers for hardware by trying this ,,
till someone with a little bit more info get to this posting ,

Sometimes usb3 ports don't work for some controllers. You can use a usb2 hub in between.
Also first use 1 device so you can rule out device conflict. Then the other only before using both.
In all cases use 32bit until all works.

In the Preferences MIDI tab you should see the tab flash green when you hit, a control at the device.
Always restart Cross for any controller change to be applied. Wait till the controller has been recognised by the OS as Cross needs this info on startup
