I have the latest version of Mixvibes 3.3.1 and cannot always guarantee in sync audio/video through the Pro 2 USB soundcard. If I use the audio direct from the PC (HP Envy dv7) I never get any delay. Also the annoying thing is that you can only ever select one source of audio - internal PC or via Pro 2, is there any way of hybridising - Main o/p from PC & Cue o/p from Pro2?

just to be sure you ment you use 3.3.11....
It isn't normal to have a delay, should be responsive. There is a fair chance you have the audio buffer wrong, or you're not using the ASIO driver.
To combine various soundcard into one virtual you can use ASIO4ALL. This is also the solution for the delay you experience.
Download from asio4all.com. Install (no further settings). Open Cross. Menu > Preferences > audio. Select asio4all. Open settings.
Default you can switch between soundcards and set the latency. If you however select one of the buttons bottom right you will be able to select various card and or channels.
It depends on each sound card architecture and driver to which level you can select. Just select the channels you actually use as each channel takes CPU performance.
If you have any further questions, please also add a capture of your audio settings to the post.

Thank you for your advice, it all seems to work. There is a small amount of noise and odd low level pulses which coincide with the cue indicator flashing when a track is on 'pause'. Would thsi be solved by using an external PSU on the Pro 2 instead of USB power?
Also I do have a really odd issue - If I connect the PC direct to either my Samsung 47" or Lilliput 7" field monitor via HDMI I get non-recoverable video freeze at random points in a MPEG4 track, the audio is still running and Mixvibes is still workable but I can no longer view any further tracks. If I connect the PC to either of the same monitors via an Edirol V4 EX HDMI video mixer I dont suffer the problem?

Replied on vid in your other topic on this.
Your sound issue isn't to clear. Could you please try to rephrase. Noise should not be there. Cross can't make noise as it's only doing digital stuff. So must come from input or other problem.
Wild guess suggestions
- you use a mic input (for Cross or for windows)
- your latency is to low (sounds more like dropouts)
- you have a 50Hz static noise, being ground loop
The cue flashing thing also isn't to clear. It could be you have Quantize enabled (top of gui) with a higher value. Disable to check if this is it. The function is start tracks by a synced beat moment, depending on value it can take longer.
Hope these options help to describe some different... Unless it's one of the guesses...
