CrossDJ does not start after Mac Update

Hi,

Cross DJ suddenly does not start anymore. I did an update to the latest patch in El Capitan today.
Now Cross DJ just stays black when I try to open it. I can only terminate the app again. This happens when I try to open it from the icon in the dock or from the Launchpad.
Interestingly, when I open it from the applications folder, it works.
Any ideas?

i think you best try deleting the mixvibes.settings file. It's in the user profile area of your c drive.

thank you for your quick reply. Unfortunately that did not do.
I also copied a newly downloaded version over - that did also not do.

I heard that yesterday Serato DJ had the same Problem with mac since the new update
