I have a Gemini FirstMix I/O that came with a cd that had Cross DJ LE and a driver. But when I updated to windows 10 I didnt think to do a copy of my windows 7. So when i went back into my bag to grab the original cd that it came with it I was pretty angry to find it broken because I didn't think to take it out of the paper bag I came with and put it in a hard plastic case. But I'm able to download the Cross DJ LE from the website and just type in the certification number but I can't get my controller sound card to work correctly. It works but everything goes threw one card in one chanel where as before it would let me split it up to listen to headphones threw the laptop and the actual music threw the FirstMix sound card that Went to the speakers. So I just want to get that driver that allowed me to split between 2 sound cards.

2 basic options.
1. Your audio routing has to be Dual Stereo in Cross (Preference > audio)

2. connect your sc to a USB 2 port if it is now connected to a usb 3 port. If you don't have usb 2 ports then use a usb hub with usb 2 ports (most soundcards are actually USB 1.x which isn't always default supported for usb 3 ports)

Yes I understand that but my problem is that it split the FirstMix sound card into master and headphones. My problem is that they needs to be seen as one card so it can give me 2 outputs, so I can then split the cue and the master out in the settings. My original cd came with a driver or extra software that fixed this problem.

That did it. Thank you so much. You really know your stuff, more than the support people at Gemini who kept telling me that my settings were wrong.

Sometimes it's the understanding of the description... Glad you persisted in providing info.

I read your initial post again and some words caused some confusion.. maybe next time you can avoid this..
"threw" better be typed "through"
The "split" likely is right from your perspective, but this lead to thinking it was the setting, whereas if you would have used "join" or "aggregate" it would have been more clear.

But don't hesitate to ask anything your way; we'll reply (back and forth) until the answer fits your need. Making music the universal language...
