Vfx is a discontinued product for quite some years.

The last OS it was updated for if I'm right is win7 (might even be Vista...). This might be the reason activation isn't successful.

Vid functions have been added in Cross software. For the full functions you would need the full version (e.g. vid files in sample pads enabled)
