U-Mix Control Pro Volume Panel / Soundcard problem

Since I updated to Windows 10 I have had issues with the soundcard / Volume panel control.

If the volume of the soundcard is set anywhere between 1 and 98 it is fairly quiet and then 100 volume is extremely loud. It's as if the smooth transition between volume is gone.

I have the latest Volume Panel update and soundcard driver updates.

Any ideas?

Kind Regards

A quick solution may be to try the asio4all soundcard driver. Can be downloaded from asio4all.com

If you have a 64bit OS installed you may want to try to use the 32bit version of Cross as the sc driver is 32bit.

Other may be to see if you can find something in the Win Volume panel that is acting strange.

Given the age of the U-Mix Control Pro it isn't likely a new driver will be created, but you may want to verify that you have the latest firmware. It's listed at the bottom of the download section.
