Cross and rekordbox 4.0 sync

rekordbox is prompting me to update to version 4.0. Before I do this, should I expect Cross' sync function to continue working properly with the new version? Sync isn't seamless now (beatgrids and cue points are usually slightly off when imported into RB) but I'd like to know that it will continue working properly before I update.
