Bad sound quality

Hi everyone,

After a long time without using my U-Mix Control Pro, today I tried to make some sound. But, I noticed the sound quality is weak. The subwoofer doesnt work, the mids and treble are weak.

I use a very simple setup: Macbook Pro and a DVD system that have AUX inputs. To test, I already used the DVD just with a pendrive connected to the USB input and the sound appears perfect. So, I think that the problem is on the software.

I have already installed the 3.3.11 version too.

Someone can help me?
Thanks.

But now, something strange is happening: When I put the crossfader a little bit back or right, the music from the other channel starts and on the Cross interface, the crossfader appears jumping from left, center and right, according to my movements.

Attached are two screenshots to help us.

 un clear to whats going on by your description ,,
:?: what MIDI mapping is selected ,,
maybe a screen shot of that ,,
is it the crossfader thats acting up or does that control seem proper ,,
did you connect the U-Mix Control Pro before starting up Cross or after ,,
there is a take over function if the MIDI control if is not in the same state/position of the gui/interface then it will allow the controller to re-position it self to match the gui before it takes control ,,dont think it that,, will look like a ghost fader moving till it matches the gui ,,
not shure by your description

Well the x-fader on screen would mimmick what you do on the controller, right? That's pretty much the whole idea behind using a controller. The behaviour you describe seems consistent with x-fader fader-start. Since I never use that and my controller has a hardware setting for that, I don't know if and where to turn that off in Cross

 there is a hardware switch on the back of the U-Mix Control Pro for crossfader ,, think its for fader reverse ,,not shure left mine in original setting

Hi Daniel,

I started U-Mix before start Cross.
Attached are the MIDI screenshots, thats what you talking about?

I turned the switch C.F curve on the back to the "crossed" icon and now the crossfader doesnt jump, flows smooth. But, the channel problem still exist: When I put the crossfader a little bit left or right, the music from the other channel starts. When the right behavior is just start the other channel music when I Cross the middle of the "crossfader line"

Sorry about my English, I'm not from US.
Thanks!
