I have loaded

Cross DJ 3.3.11 and ASIO4ALL v2.

In Audio settings I have ASIO4ALL v2 selected in Control panel options

Input1 > HD audio input 1 / input 2
Output > HD audio input 1 / input 2
(I have tried different options as well)

I have tried connecting laptop via USB to MIXVIBES controller
to get video and audio. But only get audio sound from laptop
speakers.

I have tried connecting audio jack from laptop into rear controller INPUT connection, and I get very mumbled sound out of my loud speakers system.

Controller output 1/2 is connected to EQ > AMP > speakers.

can you see anything I have set incorrectly?

 o kay ,,lack of infomation ,,, audio set up for U-Mix Control Pro ,,,,,
asio4all is not nessary ,,
go to the display menue and get to help/manual,, shows how to set up U-Mix Control Pro,,,
you might need a driver/control panel for U-Mix Control Pro ,,
if this is not the control pro 2 then there is a firmware ,,
thease are in the down load section ,, go step by step ,, manual first ,, try set up ,,if U-Mix Control panel hasnt been installed then install,, then you should see a selection for asio U-Mix Control sc,, use it ,, the manual has shown you how to set up ,, ,, should be the path to getting your set up to work ,,
any ?? ask before moving on ,, ,, the manual is pretty well set up to help with this set up

selecting U-Mix Control Pro speaker option from Audio dropdown options.

i get error:

error while opening "Speakers (MixVibes U-Mix Control Pro)
Error opening Speakers (MixVibes U-Mix Control Pro): "Bad Format"
MVDJcapt1.GIF

I cannot get passed this error.

TinouCAS instructed me to use asio4all .

I sent a message to him prior because after the last upgrade (last yr) he had to build me a driver to get it working.

apparently the Drivers for MVPRO are no longer supported by Tech Support. This is why I was recommended to load ASIO4ALL.

This is what I have found that needs to get it to work:
select ASIO4ALL in drop down.
I must also select the small button [control panel]
In [control panel] popup window
I must select option for MIXVIBES U-Mix Control Pro

*I have tried to use option for [select MIXVIBES device at startup] check box. But this does not auto-select the option within the ASIO4ALL control panel. so, I need to change this selection each time.

OK, apparently some miscommunication as asio4all is the only recommended way to use for the 64bit version of Cross for all controllers that only have 32bit drivers.

In the screenshot 2 things are remarkable:
- the latency is very high for ASIO. In many cases 512 is already high.
(my 'fastest' soundcard runs at 49)

Also your input amplification is very high. Usually no or a little amplification will do. The closer to the source you amplify the better (in most circumstances)

RoJeC ,
I was not asked if I used 64 or 32 bit version. I was simply told MVPRO drivers are no longer supported.

- the latency is very high for ASIO. In many cases 512 is already high
I am not a professional DJ, I just play music at family functions.
so, I really do not understand the latency options, (I think you
are referring to "BUFFER size"?? but...
after I loaded the ASIO I think BUFFER SIZE of 512 was
automatically selected, and
I used this setting for awhile.
Then I started having issues where
the music would start skipping/stuttering. I upped the latency and
it stopped skipping/stuttering.

"Also your input amplification is very high"
sorry, I have no clue about what you are referring to ..
Are you referring to "58db" under INPUT 1 option?
