Multiple problems with U46MK2 and Cross

Hi,

I use U46MK2 with vinyls and Cross latest version but this problems occurs with different versions of U46MK2 drivers and Cross software.

The computer specs: Intel i3 with 4gb de ram enough for run Cross.

The needles are new.

The problem:

Everything works okay but suddenly both vinyl tracks set their tempo to a slowest value. This is crazy.

Another problem is a random jump on the track. When this occurs is too hard to mix two tracks and it is so annoying.

Somebody knows a solution for this issue?

Is it possible that occurs if is not optimized U46MK2 and Cross setup? What is the best setup?

Sorry for my English.

I need help guys. I´m desperate, I tried to solve this with old drivers, old Cross releases with no luck and this continued happening.

Though I'm not an expert on tc, it seems to me there is something wrong with the signal coming into the PC.

Please use the latest driver and Cross version for further trouble shooting.

- Have you muted the monitoring of the inputs in the soundcard driver.
- Have you calibrated.
- Does it happen at both decks
- have you checked your cables to be clean (e.g. no dust/hair)
- are the levels in Cross and the sc the same (line or phono)
- do you have other audio inputs in use (e.g mic)

and general... what your hardware/OS type.

- are the levels in Cross and the sc the same (line or phono)

You missed mentioning the OS nr of Win.

A capture of the tc tab might be helpful for the more knowledgeable (if only it won't take time to ask you to post it...)

Rojec:

- Windows 7 Home Premium x64. What is "tc" tab?

Daniel clark:

- Yes i do. I tried with Cross 32 bits with no luck. I would like to test 32 bits driver but i think driver installer chooses 64 bits by default.

Both Cross's versions (64bit and 32bit) exists in your system. Cross install both versions unless your O.S is 32bit.

which Driver version for your u46mkII do you use?

Take the Final Driver from the ESI Homepage which is 3.7

Look for U46Dj which is identical with your Card

before you do this, test this one !!!!!

GO to Control Panel from your SC set USB Buffer size 4 or higher

sfronti:

I know that. My OS is a x64 version. I tried with Cross 32 and Cross 64 with same results.

jaymarkus:

- "which Driver version for your u46mkII do you use?"

I´ve installed the latest drivers for U46MK2 from Download Center:

INSTALL_U46MK2_V3.0_XP_VISTA_7.ZIP

- "Take the Final Driver from the ESI Homepage which is 3.7. Look for U46Dj which is identical with your Card"

Ok! I think you want I download latest drivers from ESI U46DJ and try run Cross with this?

- "GO to Control Panel from your SC set USB Buffer size 4 or higher"
