Upon opening Cross DJ and loading a song, I get static and crackles for 10 seconds, then the program freezes for a few seconds. The song then continues to play crackle free, but the N4 fails to control the program.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled several versions of Cross as well as Asio4all. I have also adjusted the latency settings in Asio4all countless times. Nothing seems to help.
With that said, the n4 works flawlessly with Serato DJ and Virtual DJ.
Any help would be appreciated.

Very strange thing you have.

If you loose control it is an indicator for a MIDI issue. In that case the audio drivers are not involved.

For starters it is important to use the 32bit version of Cross only also use the last version only so no other issues will be there.

I would recommend to fully restart. So first uninstall all and then manually (!) remove the mixvibes.settings file from the c/users/username/appdata/roaming /mixvibes folder.

Install and just use the 32bit version.

Don't forget to select the right MIDI mapping.
