Beeping Sound When Mixing

Hi guys,

I recently bought a Power Dynamics PDC-10 for some casual home use that came with Cross DJ L.E, I am using a macbook pro.

Everything is working fine when mixing, until maybe once every 2 minutes there is a beeping sound, just a single tone.

The sound is still there even when no tracks are playing, although when I close Cross DJ and the mixer is still plugged in the sound stops.

Im thinking it could be a Cross DJ LE issue?

has anyone had this problem or any ideas would be greatly appreciated! :)

Cheers!

 what version of Cross DJ le is bundeled with this controller ,,
if you have regerstered the software licence key in the fourm ,,then check the download section for a up dated version ,,
havent seen this issue arise so its kinda surprising , .. will maybe need some more info to try to figure this out

thanks for the rapid response!

it is Cross DJ LE 2.2.0
So just did what you said and downloaded the updated version of 2.6.0,
the beeping still seems to be there,

I am very confused, could it be something to do with the sound card (DJ controller)

the set-up is very simple, The sound is too regular (single beeps each time and then stops) to be noise or bad cables.

Set-Up
MacBook Pro 2013
Power Dynamics PDC-10 (Plug and Play)
Cross DJ LE (Tried both with old and new version still there)
Output to Panasonic Home speakers
and headphone cue to phillips DJ

Any Ideas?

Do you have any other MIDI devices hooked up.

Not sure how the LE version selects the MIDI mapping but you may want to check if in Preferences. MIDI tab the right mapping is selected (might be there isn't such list inLE).

It could be there is a MIDI signal triggering the internalmidi keyboard of your PC.
