Video issues

Postby Andyjcc on 14 Aug 2015, 22:10

Hi. I am running Cross DJ with a U-Mix controller and all is going well, but i recently tried to use the video function and it doesnt seem to work. I am struggling to find any sort of info or tutorial about how to use the video function so in need of some assistance please.

I assume it should be as easy as dragging and dropping videos into each of the players right? Whenever i try this nothing happens.

I downloaded the latest plug in from Mixvibes website and installed it, bit if i'm honest I have no idea what thats actually done. It doesnt seem to have done anything other than add another application to my laptop.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Andy

Ps I know I will get a watermark because I'm not using full Cross, but I dont have a problem with that at the moment as I'm not using it out and about yet.

Did you enable video in preferences.
Video is present by default nowadays. No need to install the older plugin.

Just to be sure.. Which Cross version do you use.

Hi Rojec. I'm using Cross DJ 3.3.11 and the 'activate video' box in preferences is ticked. Anything else I should be looking out for?

And also, the only file formats I can try to load up when I use the browse function are .png .jpeg .bmp and .gif. These are not video formats, but pcitures/images. Thats odd isnt it?
