Cross DJ for Max + iPad remote = CRASHES

Apparently the only thing the iPad remote is good for is crashing the app running on my Mac. What's going on? I paid money for both of these programs and I'm really starting to feel like I've been swindled.

What Cross version do you used and which osx version.
Have you tried running Cross in 32bit mode.
