MIXVIBES Dj Community old forum

Hello,

I'm new to the DJ scene and just received my Hercules DJ control air plus. I also just purchased Cross DJ. I didn't know I had to download the driver using a CD when I first purchased it, and I now realize my laptop doesn't have a place to insert the CD. How do I go about setting everything up? Any information is helpful as I am very confused on how I should begin making mixes and eventually preforming at house party's.

Ok great I just registered my device. Now, in the download section am I downloading the last versions of Cross DJ or the latest version of my controller? because I have Cross DJ 3.3.10 and I cant find my controller on the list of drivers. I apologize for not educating myself more before I purchased. Please be patient with me!

being patient ,,will work both ways in this matter ,, not shure that the controller is Nativily mapped by mixvibes for Cross,Cross DJ ,,if its not in the current version MIDI mappings then you have some options ,, create or edit a mapping for it or go to the controllers manufacture web site and get info pertaining to mapping the controller heres where it get fun

I really like the layout of Cross DJ and its ability to use soundcloud. On the mixvibes website it says it is compatible with Cross DJ which is one of the main reasons I purchased this controller. I'm currently trying to download the software that came with the controller on another laptop and using a flashdrive to transfer the driver over. Thanks so much for the help!
