HI... PLEASE HELP i have just downloaded the free app for my mac as the old version i downloaded when i purchased the pro 2 was playing up with my iTunes?

Free version has no cue.
Have you installed the latest version or are you using an older osx version.

Only latest version of Cross is compatible with Yosemite. You should be able to download it from the download section. 3.3.10. This also has a fix for changes Apple made to iTunes.
