Yet another...

So this will be my third thread. That's one thread for my Mac that won't recognize the UMCP2 (still not sorted), one for my PC that won't do video properly unless I use an older version and even then it's not right (still not sorted) and now this one...

A Win 7 laptop, (way above spec btw), that does audio and video just will not allow the license keys for either Cross or the video plug in. Each time I start the software I have to enter the Cross key as it tells me it's invalid (it's not) and the video key can't be entered... and, yes, I am an administrator on the machine, it is running in 32 bit mode and all the other usual things to try.

If this one isn't sorted (and quickly) then Cross goes from my machines and I'm off to VDJ. I am not happy. Not one machine that will use this software! What happened? When I started on V1.7 it was all so good.

I'm just trying to get one machine working Daniel. The PC HDD isn't even in there anymore, it's gonna be changed to SSD shortly.
What DJ software goes on there all depends on the next 24 hours. This laptop will be a backup machine for whatever runs on the main PC. The laptop will be used instead of the Mac.

 just trying to help you figure it out ,, somehow the software is only allowed to be used on two computers ,, not shure how they know or can tell;; not saying thats the issue with installing on the newer computer ,, have you double checked the licence key is correctly entered as to being case senstivve
 have you tried useing the download section to load the software on to the computer ,, also there is a rc version avaible to test to see if some of you issue with running the software are being resolved/getting fixed in the next up date,,
have followed both of your threads and tried to help with the U-Mix issue on the win side ,, best i can do ,,

Thanks for the ideas Daniel.
The UMCP2 is not at fault, I've tested that (and the USB lead) on someone else's rig who also uses a PC with a MacBook Pro as backup and it works absolutely fine.
The software 'can't' know how many machines it's installed on... even though it's technically only on my Mac and my new laptop at the moment.
The software I downloaded earlier on (latest version 3.3.10 and not the RC) and I got the keys from my profile page. And they've been double checked against what I already had written down. Case sensitive doesn't come into it as when it's entered the software automatically changes to upper case and inserts the dashes.
