Problem with the headphones

Postby rickyfalco on 11 Jun 2015, 13:21

When I connect my headphones to my U-Mix Control Pro I hear the music in both headphones and speakers without different, also when I push the Cue Button. The instruction says that I have to select "Mix Vibes ASIO U-Mix Control Pro" from the pull down menu but when I do this it tells me that there is an error: the peripheral is running in another process and to close it. Please, help me. I don't know how to solve this issue.
Thank you

PLease post a screenshot of your audio settings. From your error message I can already say that there is an issue with your U-Mix Control Pro audio interface driver. Which version of Cross (32 or 64 Bit) are you running?

In addition to blackbrook also try turning the mix fader at the right top fully left.

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

This is ok. So it must be in the use of Cross.

So basic test:
Open knob fader Cue.
Knob fader Mix full left.
Load tracks in deck A and B.
Play A.
Cross fader full left.
You should hear Main out.
Enable head phone of deck B.
Play B.
You should hear head phone now....

Nothing. I tried to do what you told me: when I play deck A I hear main out but I hear in the headphones too in the same ways. And when I turn the Cross fader full right on the deck B (with no song on the deck B) I don't hear neither the main out and the headpones. Instead when there is a song loaded in deck B and the Cross fader is full right I hear the main out and the headphones again.
It don't change nothing if I press "Source B" on my controller.
Sorry, what does "Open knob fader Cue" and "Knob fader Mix full left" mean?
I tried with 32 bit version but nothing.

 top right of Cross gui are three knobs ,,middle one is mix ,,, turn fully counter clock wise ,, this allows only monitor/cue /source to play through headphones ,,

 trying to run controller in 32 bit mode have you selected asio U-Mix in audio selection/drop down menue ,, :?:
in preferences the main tab ,,enable tool tips ,, give labekls for controls ,, might help you navigate gui ,,

hope this is a little bit clearer
