Denon MC6000: Input 3/4 for DVS not recognized on Yosemite

Hello,

I finally upgraded my Mac OS to Yosemite and now the Channels "Input 3/4" of my Denon MC6000 are not being recognized, thus preventing me of using the DVS functionality. 1/2 are working fine, so I can at least use the controller in a classical way

Before upgrading from Mavericks, everything was fine and I could use the DVS alongside my controller (Input 1/2 for Vinyl/CD Deck 1 and Input 3/4 for Vinyl/CD Deck 2). And that was an awesome Setup: Mixer, Controller, DVS in one.

FYI: VirtualDJ 8 works flawlessly as DVS on Yosemite with my MC6000. But I don't want to go this way, I would love to have my beloved Cross App working again as DVS with my MC6000 on my daily system.
In order to be ready for my upcoming gig, I installed on my mac Mavericks as additional system in dual boot and can use again from there Cross with DVS and my MC6000. But still, that's not ideal, since I have to completely boot another system without my data for DJ purposes.

Any ideas what's going on and how to fix this?
I have tried using Cross in Yosemite in 32bit, but that didn't help.

Thanks in advance.
Marc

My Specs are:
Denon MC6000 (MK1)
Cross 3.3.10
Mac OS X 10.10.3
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013),
2,4 GHz Intel Core i7
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Though your description is clear I do not see a clear reason. Great to know VDJ works, so we know it not likely is driver related.

What I can think of is that you initially used Cross 64bit as you had no reason to start otherwise.

A quick try would be to MANUALLY remove the 'mixvibes.settings' file.

I'm a windows user where the path is like
c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\mixvibes\

It is some like this in Mac (or use search).

After having removed it (uninstall won't be needed nor remove this file) you have to start in 32bit mode at first run... If you forget to select 32bit remove the file again and try again...

Please let's know the outcome..

Hello Ronald,
Sorry for getting back so late and thank you very much for having helped and responded so quickly.
The trick, setting the app as 32bit never worked and I unfortunately had to use Traktor as DVS for my gig.
The good news is that with the latest Cross app (v. 3.3.11 (64bits) RC02), everything works again flawlessyl on Yosemite: both channels of the Denon MC6000 Soundcard are being recognized for DVS purposes with Cross.
Have a pleasant summer.
Marc
