I've installed Vfx Control software (updated) and being able to work with the Vfx Control console for MIDI mapping, in the last couple of days, with the same configuration as when installed, i have no video option

there still might be some users familiar with the Vfx software ,,
have to look for postings on Vfx software and problems ,, not familiar with its operation to help ,, but can offer a suggestion as to the possibility of useing Cross for your video mixing and etc ,, the product page has software comparisions and i am not shure if the demo will give you a feel for the useage video wise ,,think its full featured but on time limitation ,, and the reason for all of this is to get you to switch to Cross with updates and techinal asistance ,,( and a reduced upgrade pricing ) there is a user made mapping to use the controller with Cross to be able to still use your hardware ,,,sooo untill you get your issues resolved you have something to think about ,

Pretty sure the problem is that you have HD videos in use. This resolution couldn't be used yet when Vfx had its last update.

HD videos did worked last week when Vfx Control software was installed, also, artwork, transitions and video titler options, now even if I type "hello" on Video Titler-Text the screen is all black, seems like either is too dark or bright to show anything and there's a layer above every video that plays

is there a "reset" option to factory settings?

*I bought this equipment in Peru back in 2012/2013, sadly I'm in Argentina now and because of taxes and credit card regulations if I wanted to get Cross in Full version for PC&MAC I'd have to pay almost us$400

As a sidenote, upgrading Vfx > Cross shouldn't be that much though. And one license allows to use two computers, like a MAC and a PC.

in the configuration menu of Vfx Control set the video settings from Hi (1080p: FullHDTV) to Hi (720p: HDTV)

now all video content works as before

seems like the update automatically set the video to FullHDTV
