Mac... this time.

Postby djeddie on 17 May 2015, 16:44

As I still can't get 3.3.10 to run on my PC properly (the video's on it's way) I tried my Mac instead. That didn't work either! (It's only ever had an older version on it as it was just used as a back up). But different problems this time.
It will not show the U-Mix Control Pro 2 as an audio device and thus will only output from the built-in sound output. It is shown in system profile as connected to USB however. Anyone got any ideas on this so I can at least have one computer this program works on?
Cross works exactly as it should however and the CP2 controls everything as it should, just no sound output. I tried the CP2 from USB power and from it's own PSU.

Thanks for the quick reply Daniel, there are no drivers though for the Mac - it uses (or is supposed to) Core audio. The U-Mix volume control is installed and that just says got to Audio / MIDI set-up... but the CP2 doesn't show at all.

 you might have to wait on someone who uses a mac ,, looked at prior postings and see you were informed on the 64 bit issue ,, best help i can offer other than to suggest putting up some screen shots and more info as to whats going on , to get a better picture of whats going on

I'll post some shots in a mo, just got to host them somewhere first.
The other problems I had (have!) are on the PC, this is on my Mac though.

No fruit expert!

It seems the system can see the U-Mix Control Pro as there are two In- and Outputs. Did you choose them in the audio section of your settings within Cross?

Please send screenshots of the audio section in Cross including the extracted drop down menus to see what is available in total - thanks
Viele Grüße,
Cheers,
A plus,
Steve
