It's Dead, Jim!

I had Cross 3.3.x installed on my laptop up until about a month ago, when I upgraded my hard drive to an SSD. I've been slowly redownloading applications and just got to Cross DJ. I went to the forum and downloaded the newest version of Cross DJ (3.3.10) and installed it, but when I opened the application it immediately shut down with the classic "Cross DJ has stopped working" Windows error message.
I tried a number of other versions, both 64 bit(what I have) and 32 bit, all to no avail. No matter what I try, I cannot get the application to start up properly. I looked through the forums but I couldn't find anyone that had the same problem, so I'm not sure what to do at this point. Any suggestions?

Software:
Windows 8.1 Pro (64 bit)

Hardware:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4700MQ CPU 2.40 GHz
8.00GB RAM
512GB SSD
Intel HD Graphics 4600 / NVIDIA Geforce GT740M

Try deleting mixvibes.settings file.
C.users.username.appdata.roaming.mixvibes folder.

After this first start in 32bit mode so you won't run into driver issues on initial start up. If you can play music you can try the 64bit.

Be aware that the 64bit requires 64bit drivers. E.g soundcard and controller as well as video.
