Hercules RMX mapping issues

Hi all,

First post here...
I'm having a problem with my cue select buttons on the RMX. When I press the cue select button to cue a channel, the cue select button for the other channel remains lit up. In order to cue only one channel, I have to press the other cue button to disable it... little annoying.

I think this may also be causing my second issue, but not sure:
I have mapped the L/R balance knob on the RMX to function as the FX amount dial, however it sometimes only works on one channel, or it will randomly switch between the two channels. Ideally I would like it to work on the channel that is being cued.

Appreciate any support.
Thanks.

Hi, please register your license in your user profile.

If the wrong button lits likely the output command is set wrong. I'm not to much into MIDI mapping, but if you open the MIDI mapping file you might be able to see and modify it yourself.
With a little effort you'll be able to read the channel for the Cue button(s). If you go to the outputs section you likely find that both Cue buttons have a signal send to the same Cue button. If you change the wrong one to the other channel (which you found before) it likely is solved.
The cues work independent. So pushing a button to change the light isn't the way to go, as it will actually set the cue for that deck as well.

You can't great a link between amount and 'cue-ed player'. The FX are not linked to any deck, other than that you can select the audio source of the FX (master/A/B). Your amount will work for FX1 or FX2, or for both at the same time.

The cue buttons for track A and B do already have separate commands.
The issue is: pressing cue A does not deactivate cue B, and so both tracks are on cue at the same time, until the cue B button is pressed again.

Pushing a control results in an input action. It also triggers an output action. Switching LEDs on/off is an output action.

The color does only tell something if it is switched on at the right moment. In your case the 2nd light doesn't mean the cue also is executed. If however this is the case you have set 2 commands to the MIDI function for Cue of 2nd deck.

Given the info my guess is still that the cue of deck 1 triggers 2 output commands.
