1. install driver 1.0.4
2. install mixvibes Vfx 1.3.1 without driver
3. enter information + license key
4. start the program
5. activation window pop up (28 days left)
6. activate now
7. program starts and window appears requesting restart
8. restart
9. install 2 dvds with contents
10. Vfx Control MIDI controller recognized

hi
i hope this time i can make this work, i purchased the Vfx Control console with everything original cd&dvds, one thing i noticed after i got it shipped was that the usb cable wasn't in the box, no big deal because its a generic one
now, when trying to install the cd, its not recognized by the computer, any computer, it has no scratches or anything and still it doesn't work

i've asked questions even before the forum started but so far i got no answer

does anyone know if there is an ISO file or the original installer of the cd?

i've already registered my product with the license key

by regerstering the software ,you have options ,, need info as to your set up as to os because Vfx is only a windows platform,,by chance if you are trying to install on mac os,,if this the case the the best option is to upgrade to Cross and use the controller ,, there are some bullet proof mapping set up for Cross and the Vfx controller ,,made by fig DJ ,,
you have the option to try Cross free ,,no controller/single sound out put ,or try the demo full function but limited time ,,

I don't see Vfx download in downloads section no more...
Also be aware win 8 didn't exist when development of Vfx was terminated....
