Hi guys, been searching the forum and testing forbours but still No luck Gatting sound hen recording, Please help!

Setup:
Pioneer cdj850 (2x)
Pioneer djm750
Apple IMac
HID setup

Normal playback works fine to start with. Recording of Channel A or B works. But the mix is silent. All volume setting I can find are up so I gues there should be a signal going out. The cdjs and djm are connected to a powered sub which leads to the imac. I've read the tutorial and manual but I can't get it to work. What can I do?

Thanks,
Charly

Have you selected the mix in the preferences.

Do yoy have main out sound.

Hi,

Yes, mix is selected.

What exactly do you mean with main out sound?
I use the master out on the djm to a stereo amplifier.

If you use external mixer routing you do not have the mix as you create the mix after Cross.

You would have to route your mixer output back to e.g. aux and record the aux.

Thanks for the help so far Rojec. Cant I somehowe lead the aux signal back from djm to Imac via the usb? If so, what settings do I need?

And if not, what else can I try?

Thanks,

I have tried to combine my DJM and both CDJ's as one aggregate device but this doesn't work either. Any other suggestions?

Don't know the DJM, but fair chance it has a parallel output that can be send to soundcard input of your mac.
Be care full on input levels in case it is mic in instead of line in.
