No Sound Output - U-Mix44

Hello

I've just bought a U-Mix44 to try to improve the sound quality of the DJ mixes that I record from my CDJs onto my computer.

I have connected the CDJs to the RCA input channels and an orange light comes on.

I have connected the RCA output channels to my line 1 and line 2 on my mixer - but there is no sound. And no orange light.

Please can you advise what I am doing wrong.

What software do you use for recording? and why not route your mixer's output (or record out) to this soundcard, that way you would save your mix properly.

I use Audacity - it has recorded fine. But the output to my mixer and hence into my speakers doesn't work, neither does plugging the headphones into the Mixvibes box.

OK that has fixed it, thanks! I was just following the set up instructions in the manual. I'm not especially technically minded.
