Hi folks,

I have a few different setups that I use. Some work with my internal SSD, some with an external HD and of course a few different controllers.

When I still used Traktor (the bad old days :-)), you could have like user profile kinda things. By loading another profile all the right user settings were loaded and you were good to go.

Is there such a thing in Cross?

It would be extremely helpful, especially if it would include path mappings and such (when I use external HD, my samples and collections and analysis files are on the external HD as well and I need to set those in settings, then when I move back to my SSD I have to set those settings back to the local paths).

Just wondering.

There's no such option in Cross.

What I use is 'substitute' disk function. In Cross I have fixed locations like K drive for all audio tracks.
Depending on the source device the K is substituted to e.g. D:/music/tracks/

You can use multiple disks. I e.g have video separated as these may be at an external drive when audio is local.

In windows a simple command can be done as run command or a simple batch file.

The command applies at a low level disk management so doesn't cause any delay.

No there is not but i think it's an option that we should have.
