I just bought a PDC-10 controller and im now trying to get it to work. Im on a Asus x200m Notebook PC with windows 8. Since my computer dont have a cd player i cant use the software cd. so i went on here and created a profile and downloaded the software that was aviable for me. When i installed Cross DJ le 2.6.0 and opened it it said
"Failed to detect the requierd device"
Please connect your device and retry.

So i connect my controller. and now i get a windows error message that says it cant recognice the usb device. and Cross DJ is till giving me the same "Failed to detect the requierd device"

What shall i do? please help me

Please check the manufacturers website. Cross LE checks for the controller to be present. Any steps before this aren't part of the Cross influences.

Also W8.1 has trouble with compatibility for usb 3 ports to connected older type devices. Fair chance the Bdc is usb 1.1 which is fine.
If you have a usb 2 port make sure you use that one.
Further check information on Microsoft website.
