Missing Font?

Since reinstalling Mac OS when I open Cross there is no font?
Nothing is readable, where letters should be there are only square symbols?
Do I have a missing font from my system? If so, can anyone tell me which font is the default so I can obtain it?
Would be extremely grateful for any advise on this.
Thanks in anticipation.
Byard.

Thanks guys, font problem solved.
Opened Font Book to discover that the font Arial was disabled for some reason? Enabled the font in Font Book and restarted Cross to find it displaying text correctly.
However, solved one issue to find another. Firstly, I have not run Cross since cleaning up my Mac and upgrading to Yosemite 10.2.
The problem, and it is a big problem, is Cross quitting during importing track collection folder. This happens whether I drag from the Finder or import via the Cross menu.
Any advice would be most welcome......

What version are you using.
Please explain some more what you do. Could "Cross collection folder" be the root folder of your tracks.
If you have a crash file, please make it available so the underlaying might be found.
A general cause could be a character in a folder/filename causing trouble. A workaround could be to add in batches of subfolders to get you going (and maybe narrow down).

Thanks,
Not sure where to find a crash log.
However, I have dragged individual folders containing tracks as my tracks are categorised on my drive alphabetically in folders labeled 'A-B, C-D', etc along with folders labeled as 'Irish'. All folders loaded okay except for three folders that are causing Cross to quit unexpectedly. I am currently looking at these folders and file names to check for anything unusual (if anything obvious) and I will correct each one I find with a problem and try again to load so as to isolate a particular file. I will also look at the meta data with Media Rage. Will take a little time but will post my results.
Thanks again.

Have narrowed the problem of the unexpected quit when importing tracks to three rougue .mp3 files. I have removed them from my collection as I will not miss them anyway. So far Cross seems to be working okay.
Have examined the files with Media Rage and scanned them with ClamXav and not found an issue?
Problems solved so far. Many thanks for your help, this once again this proves the worth of the forum community.

It would be great if you can make the suspected files available for the devteam. Cross shouldn't crash on import. As you can duplicate it it would be nice if you can help avoiding this for everyone.
