Hi all,

I haven't used me decks for a while and I have a big party coming up. I had a real issues trying to get my Control Pro 2 working with turntables so ive removed that and now trying to get timecodes and normal vinyl working with U46mk2

I managed to get timecodes working but with poor sound and the external mixer is not working, only the speed. Volumes, gains, bass, treble etc unresponsive.

I 've taken the leads out of the back of U46mk2 leaving only the turntable lead and speaker and somehow the sound is still coming out!

I'm obviously doing something wrong and very frustrated over it. I seem to have such hassle connecting Cross each time I try!

Any suggestions? My next question is where has bypass mode gone so that I can revert back to std vinyls

Thanks!

Hi. You mention 3.0. Might be best to upgrade to 3.3.9. If you're on Yosemite you have to due to changes made by Apple.

Not really expert on tc, but to me it seems you have the monitoring function of the soundcard still enabled. Should be Mute, especially for tc.

Switching between using deck and Line/Phono input is in the center section of the mixer. Open button called A (or B) for live switching.

If your controller/mixer doesn't respond you likely have a wrong MIDI mapping selected in preferences. Some newer controllers/mixers require to change a setting so it can be used with other software.

This is some general info. If it doesn't help you out yet, please add some info on your hard/software and Cross settings.

Thanks for your help. I have managed to get it all working, but, there is a hum present when using timecodes and when using real vinyl there is interference on the right deck. At first I thought the mp3 was playing as well as the vinyl but this is not the case!

Do you have any ideas? I am so very nearly there!

Many thanks :surprised:
