PDC-08W controller not working on Cross DJ LE on OS X

I have purchased the Power Dynamics PDC-08W controller and it came bundled with DJ LE but when i install onto my MAC then it recognises the controller as you cant start LE without it BUT it doesnt function!
I have tried the unti on my Windows 7 box and works fine but i need it to work on my son's MAC.
I noticed the version is only 2.6.xx but i cant find the update as when i click the update icon it sends me to this site.
Help!!

Hi. Welcome to mixvibes.
To have access to the download section you have to register your license key in your user profile.
I can't tell if you are entitled to version 3 as this depends on the LE version the manufacturer added.

Hi Ronald,
i have now registered my serial code and updated to v2.6.x but again it won't start without the device connected and when it is connected then doesn't function.

Hi
I have just bought the Discover DJ console from a charity shop thinking I could download the software (there was no installation CD on the box).
Can anyone help? I have seen posts that require the key but I do not have this either....
The model seems to be a March 2010.
All help appreciated!
