Cross's Crash

Last night i had a crash during my live session.

My set up during crashing:
Cross 3.3.9 32bit, Win 7 Pro 64Bit

Here is what i was doing during crash:
- A Video Movie was playing with VLC
- Deck A was playing A Video
- Each 4 sample slots (2x4=8) were loading with samples but there were not playing.
Tried to load a video (mp4, 1080p) to deck A and the video was loading and only the turning circle when loading a video/track was turning around. Tried to load another video but still the same.
I tried to load an mp3 file and was successful, after that I tried to load a video file and the Cross crashed. Then i opened 3.3.6 32bit and finished the night without a problem.

I attached the crash file.

Cross.exe.1419183181.dmp.7z

Thanks a lot

Hi,

Thanks for your report. I couldn't find exactly what problem caused the crash. The only clue I have would be an "out of memory" issue.

If this is the case, you shouldn't be getting it if you use the 64-bit version of Cross. If what prevents you from using is drivers' availability in 64-bit, you can try using Asio4All.

By the way, you will get better performance playing full-hd video content in 64-bit.

Thanks a lot for your quick response. I will try again the 64bit although i have tried it with a previous version (3.3.8 i think) but i had a crash too with no crash report generate.
