Initial Hardware Takeover issue!

Hi Guys, im having an issue where every time I open Cross I need to tweak EVERY knob and fader on my vci-400 pass the point of the software value before responds. Once its been done everything is fine untill I have to open the program again, I know its not the biggest issue but the VCI-400 has a tone of knobs and its getting very tiring!
side note* this also has to be done even if the hardware and software values match on open, example - If I open Cross & filter 'A' is set to 12 o'clock on both the hardware AND software, I will still need to move the filter knob (on the hardware) off 12 o'clock than back to 12 before it will communicate with Cross.
I know when mapping in Traktor there is a Hardware/Software 'Takeover' option that prevents this issue, does Cross have one hidden somewhere???

Thanks guys

 check the mapping tab in the preferences section of the software ,, i think the ability to modify this behavior is in the take over tab and can adjust whats being controlled by this feature ,

Hi Daniel, Yeah I tried that, still no luck. I have seen this behavior before in traktor with the pitch faders (after you sync one deck the other slider wont work until it matches the software value (even when sync has been fully turned off) this is obviously done as a safety precaution so you don't jump from 100bpm to 130 soon as you touch the fader.
well anyway Im interested to know whether this is with all controllers or just the vci400??
Cheers

I have the same issue as well. I think its the standard way that Cross works. And yeah having to twiddle every knob and fader so the hardware takes over is a bit annoying.
