using one DVS deck

Postby Luke Cope on 14 Dec 2014, 20:31

Ive been told that you can use mix vibes DVS on one deck. I have two turntables but the one from eBay only has one side of the stereo output working and i haven't got money to fix it. oh well i can still use that to mix normal vinyl with Cross.

However upon reading the manual i can't find a way to activate the DVS so one turntable controls either deck interchangeably. I haven't got the full version yet as i am waiting for the stuff to come in the post including sound card etc.

Summary:
How do i use just one turntable to control either deck in Cross and how do i swap which deck the turntable is acting on.

Welcome.
For time code you need stereo signal.

In the central mixer section if you open the button with the deck character you can switch the input on the fly.

Also make sure to mute the inputs of your new soundcard in its driver. Else you end up with tc signal as sound...

So given your info you need the crippled tt with a splitter to go from one side signal to double mono as replacement for stereo as there's no pan function in Cross.

Enjoy
Ronald
