Hello,
I run all of my music from iTunes. I have scanned all of my files for key and BPM and then as someone posted in the tutorial section. I went into iTunes and saved the properties.

As per the screen print attached:
- Why do some of the keys come up Orange?
- Why do some of the tracks BPM/keys don't show up in the play list, but then when I load them to a player they magically appear?

If you update BPM in iTunes then Cross 'doesn't know'.

Cross should have to re-read it. (don't use iTunes no more, so someone else will have to tell you the best way).

The orange are the keys that match the key of the track in the active player. (google "wheel of camelot" for more info). 3A e.g matches 3A 3B, 2A and 4A.

(another good match, not supported by Cross match suggestion) minor to majeur : + 3 (3B > 6A) and vv.

The BPM in the deck is not from the collection info, but from the analyses file. This can be somewhat funny if tracks (file tags) are accessed and updated from various sources ( programs, collections,..).

How come a previously analysed track doesn't display the info in the Collection. Its only some tracks?

That's still a pending issue. The team can't put the finger on it even though it seems a simple problem. When loaded to the deck and analyzed by that the info is written but when analyzed in collection sometimes it isn't written, of these some are resolves by reanalyses and a few only when in deck.
Also the gain seems to have this problem.

Thankyou for your replies Ronald. I don't mind if its a software bug.

I really like Mixvibes and think its great that your always releasing updates and new features.

The best feature you have is the iTunes collection refresh button. Means at a gig I can purchase, download and have a song playing in under a minute.

Consider selling the offer to download... if only for like another 1 $/€ for charity...

Be aware of the crowd/location reducing available bandwidth for download... can become long minute.

Also having iTunes active while using Cross better be avoided. At least test it before your gig starts, so you now it's not interfering e.g. in used sound card/channels.
Load the next track to deck before doing so; as this is a performance peak for Cross. It gives some spare time and less likely to get dropouts.
But technically it can be done....

I've been doing it for the last couple of years without a problem. I run my own 4G wifi hotspot.

The biggest performance problem I get is when I stop/finish a recording.

I have 16GB RAM in my Windows 7 laptop and I disabled the Swap File. Its worked perfectly.
