CrossDJ Mac, airplay + bluetooth without external sound card

Hi,

I would like to use AirPlay, Bluetooth and Internal Speakers as three different devices on iMac (Yosemite). but can't find a way to use them simultaneously. In the software preferences. I can only select one of these devices.

I think it should be possible, because I am able to play audio with the internal speakers, using iTunes for example, and send a different audio to a bluetooth headset using CrossDJ (not the free version)

any advice ?

thanks !

Don't have a mac, but in the manual you can find info on setting up an aggregate soundcard.
Be aware that airplay has a significant delay (some like 1 or 2 secs) and isn't suitable for 'active' djing.

Thanks RoJeC for you answer,

The delay in airplay is not a problem, as I don't want to do 'active' djing.

I would like to play in Airplay, and preview with Bluetooth headset. I have read the manual, but can't find any information on setting the same sound card with two different outputs.

Is it possible ?

thanks !

It is possible by going into the utilities folder in applications then audio MIDI setup. within there you create a new aggregated divide and choose the devices you want to use, give it a name you remember. Whiting Cross you choose the aggregated device as sound card.

But this is not going to work very good, as RoJec pointed out Airplay has a lag even if it's only 1 sec and you are playing a song thats 128 BPM the computer will have played 2 beats before you hear the first beat in your airplay speaker.
